THE SWORD AND ZEN: Chozen-ji's Summer 2022 Newsletter
This summer newsletter is packed with news of activity at Chozen-ji—from facility repairs to the return of our annual fundraising dinner and Annual Zen Arts Show & Sale (November 4-6), and updates on new classes.
In his Letter From the Abbot, Sayama Daian Roshi writes about translating Omori Sogen Rotaishi's Ken To Zen from the original Japanese with Deku Teshima Sensei as a resource for Chozen-ji students training in Kendo, of which there are a steady number these days.
With new variants and sub-variants of COVID-19, we are continuing to keep COVID precautions in place while still allowing training and events to continue. The Dojo continues to be active and grow. We hope to see you at Chozen-ji again soon.
