Chozen-ji is a private temple and an active training monastery. An appointment is necessary to visit the premises. When visiting Chozen-ji, please dress accordingly (no shorts or tank tops).
At this time, we are unable to accommodate requests for tours.
If you are interested in Zen training at Chozen-ji and live on Oahu, please complete the New Student Request Form on the Training page to join the beginners' class, which is required.
For those outside of Oahu interested in live-in training, you may sign up to receive notifications by clicking the button below to be notified of future short term live-in programs.
